Help Shape B.C.’s

Anti-Racism Legislation

Your Stories Matter

Systemic racism exists everywhere, including in Government policies and programs, and too many communities are facing barriers in their lives because of it – this must change.

The provincial government is now in the process of developing broader anti-racism legislation that will require government to address systemic racism within its programs and services. Through the Summer of 2023, the Government of B.C. is engaging in a public consultation and engagement process to help inform the new anti-racism legislation.

Hope Community Services and the Hope Inclusion Project are hosting three virtual community engagement sessions to hear your stories and allow your voice to be heard in the creation of B.C’.s anti-racism legislation.
