Christine Proulx
As a director of Free Rein Associates, Christine is responsible for coordinating Free Rein's provincial programming. A mother of 4, Christine's first priority is family. She obtained a Social Services diploma from the University College of the Fraser Valley and believes in wholistic approaches to helping people achieve success. Christine works hard at developing community initiatives to support every member within the community. She is especially passionate about raising awareness of the importance of early childhood development, promoting "It takes a community to raise a child." |

Peter Bailey
A director of Free Rein, Peter has been with the organization since 1993. He is a certified Career Development Practitioner, providing Employment Counselling and Project Management . His studies include Vocational Rehabilitation, Labour Market Information and Lifeskills. Peter has completed the Provincial Instructor's Diploma, a BCIT Certificate in Media Techniques for Business and a UCFV Certificate in Employment Counselling. A committed husband and father Peter has lived and worked in Hope since 1990. He is active in numerous community organizations that are
focused on enhancing the quality of life in Hope.

Karen Scalise
Karen has been with Free Rein for more than 13 years. Her background is in Leisure and Recreation Management and Small Business Bookkeeping. She has moved through many facets of the organization and has embraced all challenges. Her current position as Office Manager has utilized her excellent management skills while still juggling her office procedures. Karen's motto for herself and those close to her is - 'Do the job you love and you will never work a day in your life.' That sums up Free Rein Associates. |

Maureen Kehler
Maureen's work at Free Rein includes employment counselling, facilitating workshops with the Workforce and coordinating the Community Adult Literacy Program. Her previous career was in outdoor education. She has experience facilitating in a boat, on a rock wall, in the middle of a field, on a mountain, within a low ropes course, from a raft on a river and in a classroom. Maureen has home schooled her four children, worked as a nurse and prenatal instructor, coached volleyball and soccer and was a volunteer firefighter. Her strengths are flexibility, intuition, compassion and a love of life.

Barb Jaeger
The Client Service Representative for Free Rein, Barb brings more than 20 years of exceptional customer service in the banking industry and five years working for Agassiz-Harrison Community Services. Barb's love of community has taken her to volunteering for Victim Services, Citizen's on Patrol, Board of Directors of Agassiz-Harrison Community Services and Grants Committee for the Kent Harrison Foundation. She is currently a director of the Hope and Area Transition Society. Her compassion for people makes her a positive addition to the team.

Mark Glentworth
Mark's responsibilities at Free Rein include employability services and life skills coaching. His previous career included recruiting and training staff for a major logistics company in the UK. Although Mark has recently moved to Hope, he has become heavily involved in the community by sharing his expertise and love for photography, hiking and other outdoor pursuits.

Stephanie Hooker
Stephanie Hooker is an employment advisor with Free Rein. She received a BA in Sociology and Community Economic Development from Simon Fraser University. Stephanie has always had an interest in community development and working with people. In an effort to live a life less ordinary, Stephanie has spent years as a forest fire fighter with the Ministry of Forests and Range and has learned a great deal about incident management and coordination/organization. Stephanie is very pleased to be working with Free Rein Associates and to assist people in finding their own path to success.
