• Please Note: Must be eligible to work in Canada

Employment Support Options:

• Employment Assistance Program
  Available to all Hope and Area residents who are looking for employment
  
  
• Employment Assistance
  Available to Hope and Area residents who are:
  
  
  • Becoming discouraged during their job search
  • Losing confidence in their abilities
    
    
• Youth Outreach Services
  Available to Hope and Area residents who are:
  
  
  • Between the ages of 15 and 30 years
  • Not attending school on a full-time basis
    
    
• BC Employment Program
  Available to Hope and Area residents who are:
  
  
  • Receiving benefits from the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance
  • Please Note: clients must be referred by the Ministry if Employment and Income Assistance
    
    
• Triumph Vocational Services
  Available to Hope and Area residents who:
  
  
  • Have medically verifiable disabilities
  • Are receiving benefits from the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance (but is not a limiting criterion)
    
    

• Job Development Program
  Available to Hope and Area residents who are experiencing significant barriers to gaining employment. These may include:
  
  
  • Physical or metal challenges
  • Communication/language challenges
  • Social Challenges
    
    
• Self Employment Program Assistance
  Available to Hope and Area residents who are:
  
  
  • Interested in owning their own business
  • EI eligible, or
  • with Reach Back Status
    
    
    • Your EI claim has ended within the last three years.
    • Your Parental/Maternity Leave has ended within the last five years.
